Blue Clay Trail Building

2/18/06 -- Saturday. Today we went out to Blue Clay to work on the trail some more. It got colder as the day went on but the rain held off until the afternoon. The motorcycles and quads were in abundance but fortunately they have not found our trail yet and we want to keep it that way. So we are not putting any obvious entrance to the trail. We met a local landowner who told us about illegal hunting going on and the area is supposed to be 'monitored' now, and if we saw or heard anything to call 911. He thought it was great that we were back there building trails. We talked about putting up No Trespassing signs also. If anyone sees any quads/motocross activity on our side we have to tell them that they are trespassing and to call 911. Hopefully the signs and Sheriff will be an effective deterrent.
