Thanks for getting those up, they confirm that I suck! :)

I did learn a valuable lesson about hammer gels and how not to use them!

Wow. My last lap was a 32m 22s lap time. If my lower back didn't hurt so bad, I could easily break 30m laps.

Thanks for posting Erol! I know several of you have been asking for them, but since the event is behind us, I took a few days to hit the trails myself....

Can't wait to do it again ,family had fun but kids got to antsy to wait for my race . It took a while between events to get things going, overall everyone had fun and it was for a good cause. Thanks everyone who volunteered to pull this together . Its hard to imagine just 3 years ago this was just a swamp with some old trails nobody used . Great job Erol, Steve ,Daniel, Jay and the rest of the countless volunteers who have helped make this park what it is today.
And if anyone has a secret to preventing leg cramps please tell me!!

You are worried about your back ? I had a crank arm fall off, crashed twice, and bonked. That chiropractor made my neck feel better than I have felt in 10 years. I can not wait to get an appointment to see him again. I have long been a skeptic of chiropractic treatment, but I can't explain how good I feel, still days later.

I think we need to have a one lap showdown. I want to see someone break 30.

Greg Brinson had a spectacular crash, I felt the bridge shake when he went down.

I'm a massage therapist & do mostly deep tissue/therapeutic. Your low back may be muscular & not structural. They both kind of work together though. He might have a massage therapist on staff to work on both.
By the way. if you ever need some time donated for one of the charity events, just let me know.

Yeah, I have an appointment this week. I actually tried a chiropracter years ago, and the guy seemed like a kook. Dr. Reese seems like he really knows how to work with cyclists also. I feel like I wasted about $1000 last year on regular DRs.

Dr's usual response is to cover up the pain with pills or surgery. The trick is to prevent it in the first place & to find the CAUSE of the problem, not just cover it up! Not saying all doctors are like this or surgery is never needed, but can (a lot of times) be avoided with a little maintenance.

Most of my issues come from bicycle wrecks, and then not allowing enough recovery time. I have a total of 2 pinched nerve clusters, 2 bone spurs, 4 fused vertabrae, scoliosis, and a few other maladies I forgot. And that is just my spine. Try not to ever hurt your neck in the first place.
