Photos from Dow Road

Here's a few photos from last Thursday's night ride at Dow Rd. No flats this time despite the heavy trail debris, but several light issues. You don't want to lose your light at Dow because it is pitch black in the woods and easy to get turned around. There are animals as well -- at one point Armando Russ nearly got taken out by a deer. Just as long as we're not taken out by MPs...

it wasnt armando who got hit almost got hit by the deer it was Russ and the deer went like 5 feet behind me

Its on...Dow Road in Carolina Beach..., for more info click on the local trails button the left hand side of the screen that says Dow Road :p

its down by the base ball fields
you make a left out of there and on you right side is the trail head
