2009 Race #4 Podium Pics

(updated: Apr 9, 2009)

As promised, here are the podium photos, courtesy of mtbrider. Meant to say that there were 72 riders total in the race. Not a bad turnout.

After 4 consecutive race wins in a row, time for the 1st place begginner (Ya Right) to step and challenge himself to the sport class..

3 or 4?? lets not split hairs, if your sandbagging by 6+ minutes, it's time to move on/up where you can challenge yourself??

For not being his home trail, beating 2nd place at the BP trails by 8 minutes is crazy. With the exception of the 5 minute gap between 3rd and 4th and the 3 minute gap between 6th and 7th, everyone else in the top ten was within 1 minute of each other. SANDBAGGING at its finest if you ask me. Nice job!!

Not only beating 2nd place by 8 minutes at BC, the "sandbagger" takes another full lap after the race already ended, so he can't be found until it's time for the podium.

MOVE UP SANDBAGGER!!

Easy boys...this guy is in the points race (ok, ahead by a mile) but no way he's gonna bump up mid-season. So next year if somehow race officials let him race beginner again, all them will be subjected to a public flogging!!!

i dnt think theres nothing wrong with sanbagging, i will be going straight from youth to sport next year, and at the last race of the series i will race sport

They need to re-name this site Sir Whines Alot

Who the hell cares, so what if the winner can pick from a bunch of useless left over shit from the prize table the sponsors couldn\'t sell anyhow, ROFLMAO

If you don't like the items on the prize table, simply DON'T come to the remaining races. Stay home, look up the race times on the internet and contemplate who you wish you could beat. No one is making you come out, spend your money and race.

BTW, you guys at CFC put on a GREAT race.

Ride On!

When your daddy runs the show you can "sandbag" in whatever class you like, LOL

Are you guys serious ? There is no such thing as sandbagging the beginner class. Beginner class is for people new to racing, not necessarily new to riding. You move up at the end of the year, not the middle. And that family has really good cycling genetics.

As for the prizes, the guy running the show takes time off from work every month to go to each sponsor and obtain prizes, and I know he has to push to get as many as he does.

If you are slow, its your fault, not the guy who beats you. Man up and post under your real name if you have to talk shit. I don't exactly like the CFC guys, but at least they don't hide behind the internet.

This is some good reading. This is the best thing I've read on your website in a few weeks.
See everyone at the races... Drink water.
