San-Lee Park ~ Video ~

(updated: Feb 1, 2011)

A couple of weeks ago we took a road trip to San-Lee Park. I kept hearing good things about how they had added new trail and how it had this really long sick rock garden now. The last time I rode here I think it was less than 6 miles of trail. Now they've effectively doubled the amount of trail. We had about 12 miles on the odometer when we were finished, however, that included hitting the rock garden about 3 times.

It was about 19 degrees in San-Lee when we got there early Sunday morning. It took a while to warm up, but, you know, it wasn't that bad. In fact, the trail was frozen and therefore mud wasn't an issue.

The ride was great - San Lee has a little of everything. Of course my favorite part was the long rock garden. It'll give you a whole body workout.

Haven't hit Governor's Creek or Devil's Ridge yet. Those are for the next time, when the days grow a bit longer and the temps a bit warmer.

Enjoy the video...

Awesome guys!

I hate that I missed the trip, but the beginning footage would have been accurate if I had gone. You are getting good at those videos; might need to offer up some of the garage band for the next sound-track.
