Wrightsville Beach Pugsley
(updated: Apr 3, 2012)
Just another great ride yesterday to Wrightsville Beach, up and down the beach, then for some beers at Buddy's. This is where you want to be when it is 100 degrees inland.
Lots of kiteboarders out because of the strong southern wind. Tough to ride into. Apparently the new thing is to bolt bindings onto short boards and and surf the waves, wind-assisted.
Here I surf the waves, pedal-assisted.
A little further in and I will start to float off. The Pusgley actually floats, by the way.
Light on top for the ride home.
It's never the same beach twice. There were lots of rollers of sand that you could catch a little air off of.
Michael fighting the wind.
We watched a guy reel in this ~40lb or so stingray.
I love the Pugsley. I ride the hell out of this thing.
