Pisgah & DuPont mountain biking ~ video

(updated: Apr 6, 2012)

"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3. Found on our car after the end of a ride in Pisgah.

This is footage from a trip back in Oct where a bunch of us including the folks from Greenville NC met up to ride. It was under perfect riding conditions ... I don't expect anything less and am considered in many parts to be a fair weather rider anyway (although ask me about a trip to Raleigh a couple of years ago involving lightning and water rushing down the trail).

This was Fall riding at its finest. This is what you train for. So you can ride all day. You think about nothing else. All your cares and troubles just melt away. You're in it.

Pisgah and DuPont - love it, live it, breathe it in. It's good for you.

One of the best riding spots on earth according to last month's Bike magazine..what a blessing to have it so close by. Some of the best days of my life were spent riding there. Thanks for the write up

Loved those trails. My two sons and I road those trials often before moving to Utah four years ago. Now we only get to ride the Watasch Crest, Mid-Mountain and Sardine Trials in Utah!
I believe the trail in question looks like the Corn Mill Shoals trail!
Thanks for the memories....

Great shots of our favorite trails. We just got back from riding Fruita, CO and Moab, UT and had a great time, but nothing is better than the mountain trails we have here - and Dupont has some of the best!

That water looks cold and those rocks look hard.
