DuPont Fall 2013 video

(updated: Nov 12, 2013)

I have made a new video of the mountain biking. This video features trails in DuPont State Forest. I hope nobody sees this video, which is why I have posted it on my site and linked to my Facebook page. That ensures that no one will see it. Thank you for not watching. It's just some boring trails in the mountains ridden by an amateur anyway.

Speaking of boring ... You know what bores me? Roller Coasters, that's what. I keep thinking I'd rather ride my mountain bike on the coaster track; see how far I can make it before falling off.

After I fall off, I want the following epitaph on my tombstone:

So I need a really talented rider to come to Wilmington or Brevard so I can get some awesome video. What, no takers? (hears crickets chirping). How about free beer?

Ok, then in the meantime you'll have to be satisfied with this, with my disembodied arms sticking out like a Stretch Armstrong. Or just go out there and ride these trails yourself.

Some of the trails featured include:

Turkey Knob
Big Rock
Cedar Rock
Burnt Mountain
Pine Tree

Does Carbon float? You should come do a night time farlow ride with me if you want some good video. Its a lot easier when you can't see the gnar you're shredding.

Also, I need to introduce you to Bear Pen.

Nice video Gumby arms! 120 miles of biking that weekend yet it was only the tip of the iceberg. I can't imagine ever getting bored of riding there.

"How is Your Day?" "Not Very Good, you screwed up my Strava Time." "Stop Calling me a Strava-Hole, I have to be King on the Mountain up this climb." Oh, I did not realize this is also a very popular down hill, especially on Sundays when there are hundreds or cyclist out on the trails in Dupont. "You ruined my Day!"
